Lab-grown meat, grown independently of an animal, might be a reality soon, with one scientist estimating that he is six months away from creating a sausage, a year from a hamburger. But would vegetarians eat it? That was the question asked by Slate magazine here.

I would eat lab grown meat if the environmental cost to produce was less than or equal to common vegetarian staples (grains, beans, etc.)
