City Council, why you making Bill Addington cry?

City Council, shame on you for making longtime El Paso environmentalist Bill Addington cry (see video). City Council voted yesterday to sell the building (across from Bowie on Paisano, next to the What-A-Burger) to a company that'll turn it into a restaurant (A Burger King?).

The building used to belong to the El Paso Solar Energy Association, which donated it to the city. They were hoping it could become a solar demonstration project...
