After three months, the oil spill is capped

Hurray! For the first time in three months (three months!), it looks like the cap over the oil spill is working and oil has stopped spewing out. Officials remain cautious...

Talking about the oil spill, I wanted to give a shout-out to Marc Puma (photo), a 23-year-old biology student at UTEP who organized a fundraiser at MBar on Mesa. Proceeds go to the oil clean up. I went to check it out at the beginning and took these pictures, then I left. The bouncer called me "M'am." You know you're too old for the party if the bouncer calls you M'am.
