The new farmers' market opens tomorrow at the Outlet Mall on the West Side. They'll be open every Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon until July 25. Their Web site says the market is located at the North end of the center near New Balance and rue 21.
Other El Paso area farmers markets:
-Mercado Mayapan on Myrtle and Willow Downtown opened today and I haven't checked it out yet. I have a flyer that says their hours are 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Mon-Sat and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
-A market will start soon at Bassett Place but I don't know exactly when (at least that was the rumor last week at the Go Green Expo).
-The Las Cruces farmers' market is year-round, sunup to 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
-Ardovino's farmers' market is also coming, although they haven't announced an opening date yet.
If you know of other local farmers' markets, please let me know. Let's support our local farmers and artisans!

ADC's market will open on Saturday, May 29th from 7:30-noon. YAY!
ReplyDeleteIt was announced on Facebook, and probably on their website too. I read it in the El Paso Times a couple days ago as well.
Thanks for the information on the other markets - very exciting to have other options!
I heard something about the Valley Growers' Association having markets, but they're all in the east, far-east and central parts of town.
